Our Heart for Missions

At Cornerstone Bible Church, missions are woven into our DNA. From the beginning, we have been passionate about supporting those who take the gospel to the ends of the earth — and to our own local communities.

We take seriously the command of Christ in Matthew 28:18–20 to “make disciples of all nations”. Our desire is to see people from every tribe, tongue, and nation come to know and follow Jesus.

Below you’ll find a list of the missionaries and ministries CBC supports, both globally and locally. We invite you to pray for them, encourage them, and celebrate the ways God is working through their faithful service.

Lawrence & Barbara Trumbower
Grace Ministries International (GMI)

Lawrence and Barbara Trumbower served for many years as missionaries in Puerto Rico, using radio to share the Word of God, the message of salvation, and biblical principles with the masses. They began their ministry with Grace Ministries International at a station on the island’s south coast, later joining Calvary Evangelistic Mission to expand the outreach to three stations.

In 2020, GMI approved their plan to transition into a teaching ministry, moving back to the U.S. as their home base while traveling to Latin American countries. Though COVID altered some of those plans, Lawrence taught classes via Zoom to Panama, and together they traveled to Curaçao and Bonaire to lead seminars.

In mid-2022, recognizing the realities of age, they retired from GMI and now live in Georgia, where they attend Cornerstone Bible Church.
