D-Group Leaders
Invest in students’ spiritual growth on Wednesday nights. Lead or co-lead small groups after teaching time, share meals, build relationships, discuss God’s Word, and pray together.

Intercessors
Cover our students, leaders, and ministry in prayer — from home or wherever you are. Pray for protection, spiritual growth, and God’s glory in all we do.

Live Stream Ministry

About the Role
Serve one Sunday a month helping bring our worship service to those who can’t attend in person. Arrive early for setup, assist with troubleshooting, and work with a great team to make sure everything runs smoothly. This is an important ministry that shares God’s Word beyond our walls.

Front of House / Sound

Need:
Front of House / Sound Technician


About the Role
Help make sure every word and note is heard clearly on Sunday mornings. This role involves:

  • Arriving early on Sundays to work with the Worship Team

  • Attending Tuesday night Worship practice

  • Staying engaged during the entire service — from worship to announcements to the sermon

Experience with sound is helpful, but a teachable spirit is most important. Familiarity with the Behringer Wing sound board is a bonus, but training will be provided.

Visuals Ministry

Visuals Presenter
Stay engaged during Sunday services by running worship lyrics, announcements, and sermon slides. Arrive early on Sundays to coordinate with the Worship Team.

Media Organizer
Prepare media during the week for Sunday services. This includes using Planning Center to download sermon materials and creating slides for worship and preaching.

Experience with ProPresenter or Planning Center is a plus, but not required — training provided!

Potluck Ministry

About the Role
Our church potluck happens the first Sunday of each month (except picnic months), and it’s a special time of fellowship and community. We need volunteers to help make it run smoothly:

  • Set Up / Break Down: Arrange tables and chairs before potluck and put them away after. Wipe tables, vacuum floors.

  • Meal Setup: Bring food from the kitchen to serving areas, restock paper products, refill drinks.

  • Kitchen Clean Up: Wash dishes and tidy the kitchen after the meal.

  • Maintenance: Deep clean kitchen appliances quarterly.

Greeter Ministry

Greeters


About the Role
Greeters have the joyful opportunity to make every visitor and member feel welcome at Cornerstone Bible Church. This role is about more than a friendly hello — it’s about creating a warm, Christ-centered atmosphere where people feel they belong.

We aim for 4–5 greeters each week, with each volunteer serving once every 4–8 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet Sunday School attendees from 9:15–9:45 AM

  • Greet Worship Service attendees from 10:30–10:50 AM

  • Offer a warm welcome and be available for friendly conversation

Nursery — First & Second Hour (6 Weeks – 2 Years)

About the Role
If you love and appreciate babies and toddlers, this is a wonderful place to serve! Whether you’re keeping up with their energy or offering guidance to other caregivers, you’ll play a vital role in showing God’s love to our youngest ones.

Positions:

  • Nursery Director: Oversees scheduling, training, and care standards; provides spiritual and practical direction; manages the nursery facility.

  • Leaders: Present the Bible lesson and lead activities on Sunday mornings.

  • Helpers: Assist with care and activities during nursery time.

All volunteers must complete an adult or teen application, and a background check is required for everyone serving with children.

cbcKidz — First Hour (Pre-School & K–5)

About the Role
If you love and value young children, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact. You’ll invest in preschoolers and elementary kids through teaching, encouragement, and relationship-building.

Positions:

  • Pre-School Director: Oversees the preschool department on Sundays, welcomes new families, and manages transitions between services.

  • Lead Teachers: Prepare and teach weekly lessons using Answers in Genesis curriculum.

  • Assistant Teachers: Teach the memory verse and assist with lessons.

  • Helpers: Build relationships with kids and support teachers in class.

Additional for K–5: We aim for 3-person teaching teams for K–2 and 3–5 classes, rotating roles as needed.

Requirements: Adult application (18+), background check, and annual training (provided).

cbcKidz — Second Hour (Children's Church K–5)

About the Role
Children’s Church is a lively and meaningful time for kids to learn how to apply God’s Word to everyday life while building friendships and a sense of community.

Positions:

  • Lead Teachers: Plan and lead activities that teach Bible truth and foster connection between students and leaders.

  • Assistant Teachers: Help carry out planned lessons and activities.

  • Helpers: Primarily teens who support teachers in activities and relationship-building.

  • Technology: Operate tech equipment used during services (training provided).

Team Structure:
We need 3 rotation teams —

  1. Main Team: Serves most of the year

  2. Summer Team: Serves 6–8 weeks in summer

  3. Holiday Team: Fills in when other teams take breaks

Requirements: Adult or teen application and background check for all volunteers.

Requirements:
Any role involving direct contact with children requires a completed volunteer application and background check. Behind-the-scenes roles that don’t involve direct contact do not require these.
