How do you get to heaven? Many believe it is by being a good person. However, that is not what God says in the Bible. Don't believe me? Do you think you are “Good Enough” to go to heaven? Take this test to find out if that is true:
1. Do you think you are a "good" person?
2. Have you ever told a lie, or stole something or lusted?
3. If yes, what does that make you? By your own admission, you would be: a liar, a thief and an adulterer at heart (Matt. 5:27-28)
4. God will judge all by His Law and he says all liars, thieves and the sexually immoral have broken his law (Rev. 21:8). On Judgment Day, will you be innocent or guilty of breaking God's holy Law?
5. We all will be guilty (Romans 3:23). God must punish sin. If you are guilty, will you go to heaven or hell? We all deserve hell because we've broken God's Law.

7. If it does, do you know what God did so you can be forgiven? Romans 10:9 says, "If we confess with our mouth Jesus is Lord and believe God raised him from the dead, you WILL be saved." Jesus died on the cross taking our punishment on himself. We broke the law and Jesus paid our fine. Scripture says that if we repent and acknowledge our sin, turning from it, and trust in the free gift of Jesus paying our fine for us, we will be saved from the wrath of God we all deserve. But Jesus didn't die and stay dead. He rose from the dead giving us hope that one day we too will rise from the dead and live with God forever on the New heavens and earth in a resurrected body. This is the Good News! We can restore our broken relationship with God only through trusting in Jesus Christ.
